Hi! Welcome.

I’m Minou (she/her), pronounced MEE-noo, with the emphasis on the “me”— still workshopping jokes on that. I'm an Iranian-American actor, maker, and haver of big feelings born in and currently located in Philly. I started acting at thirteen, when I played Juliet in a *very* heavily edited sixth grade production of Romeo and Juliet, unless you count my one-episode stint on Blue’s Clues at age six (the Dreamcatcher episode, with thanks here to whomever recorded it off their TV and popped it onto YouTube). I'm a contact-improviser, deviser, amateur ceramicist (some of my work pictured below or check out @pourshariaticeramics on Instagram), knitter, theatrical stitcher, oil and acrylic painter, and intersectional feminist; I sing and play the ukulele. Proud member of Philly Asian Performing Artists. I’m really really into cacti and succulents and I have way too many houseplants.

Thanks for visiting!
